Junta Directiva
La Junta Directiva es el órgano rector de la Federación Internacional de Sociedades de Fertilidad, proporcionando a la organización dirección estratégica y propósito. La junta establece objetivos a largo plazo y supervisa la organización. La Junta Directiva de la IFFS es elegida por y es responsable ante la Asamblea General de la IFFS y consta de 7 Oficiales y 9 miembros regulares, cada uno representando a una Sociedad Nacional individual.
Los miembros de la Junta de la IFFS tienen una responsabilidad fiduciaria de actuar en el mejor interés de la Federación Internacional de Sociedades de Fertilidad y deben estar dispuestos a actuar de manera rápida y responsable para mantener estándares de buena gobernanza. La Junta Directiva determina las acciones y los gastos necesarios para lograr los objetivos de la Federación.
La Junta de la IFFS se reúne dos veces al año.
Dr Marcos Horton graduated in Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He first trained as an ObGyn at the British Hospital in Buenos Aires and later as a postgraduate fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Huntington Reproductive Center and Huntington Memorial Hospital, Pasadena, California.
From 1998 to 2007, Dr Marcos Horton worked as Medical Staff at the Fertilab Reproductive Medicine, Buenos Aires and is now, since 2007, Medical Director at Pregna Medicina Reproductiva, Buenos Aires.
Dr Marcos Horton has a solid experience in Clinical Infertility, Assisted Reproduction, Ultrasound and Reproductive Surgery.
Dr Marcos Horton is currently President of the Scientific Committee of the Sociedad Argentina de Medicina Reproductiva (SAMeR) and is on the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) since 2010.



Special Interest:
Reproductive Endocrinology, in particular male and female infertility, the genetics of male infertility, ovulation induction, recurrent miscarriage, assisted reproduction (IVF/ICSI), OHSS prevention and advanced gynaecological and reproductive endoscopy.



Dr. Rishma Pai is an honorary consultant Gynaecologist at the Lilavati, Jaslok and Hinduja Health Care Hospitals, Mumbai. She has been in private practice since 29 years.
She is the only Indian to have served as President of all the three leading gynaecological, infertility and endoscopy organizations, The Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), an organization of 35000 gynaecologists from India, The Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) and the Indian Association of Gyanecologial Endoscopists (IAGE).
