Comité de Educación
El Comité de Educación juega un papel vital en el desarrollo e implementación de la estrategia y las actividades educativas de la IFFS.
El Comité de Educación fue creado con los siguientes propósitos:
- Desarrollar planes estratégicos para la Educación de la IFFS para su consideración por parte del Comité Ejecutivo.
- Ser responsable del desarrollo de los programas educativos globales de la IFFS.
- Asesorar a la Junta en cuestiones educativas relacionadas con los objetivos y metas de la IFFS.
- Desarrollar colaboraciones con sociedades membresas para promover los objetivos educativos de la IFFS.
- Desarrollar colaboraciones con empresas privadas para financiar actividades educativas.
- Desarrollar el contenido de los programas de actividades educativas.
- Desarrollar e implementar diferentes metodologías educativas en la entrega de los programas educativos.
- Operar los programas educativos dentro de un presupuesto acordado por el Tesorero de la IFFS y aprobado por el Comité Ejecutivo.
- Proporcionar informes al Comité Ejecutivo sobre asuntos relevantes de forma regular.
- Proporcionar informes a la Junta Directiva cuando sea necesario.
- Presentar un informe sobre el Programa Educativo Global de la IFFS a la Asamblea General.



Special Interest:
Reproductive Endocrinology, in particular male and female infertility, the genetics of male infertility, ovulation induction, recurrent miscarriage, assisted reproduction (IVF/ICSI), OHSS prevention and advanced gynaecological and reproductive endoscopy.



Dr. Rishma Pai is an honorary consultant Gynaecologist at the Lilavati, Jaslok and Hinduja Health Care Hospitals, Mumbai. She has been in private practice since 29 years.
She is the only Indian to have served as President of all the three leading gynaecological, infertility and endoscopy organizations, The Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), an organization of 35000 gynaecologists from India, The Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) and the Indian Association of Gyanecologial Endoscopists (IAGE).






Experienced fertility nurse with management, business and quality management skills, and also has experience of working with Government and Health Boards to provide the best care to all who use fertility services within Scotland.

Royal College of Nursing – Deputy Chair of Fertility Nurses Group 1998-2006. Currently working with the Fertility Nurses Forum on a project to deliver a national standards for senior fertility nurses.
Founder of Senior Infertility Nurses Group – which provides peer support, guidance and encouragement to its members, promotes education and training for all fertility nurses working and caring for individuals seeking fertility treatment. Responsible for creating 18 teaching modules.
Founding member of the Scottish Infertility Counselling Group
Nurse Advisor on Education Committee of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) working with Nurses worldwide to deliver a comprehensive training package for nurses. Have achieved this in Ghana and Nigeria and now working with Latin American nurses and exploring needs of nurses working in infertility in India
Trustee of Progress Educational Trust (11/8/2020 – current)
Worked on the National Infertility Group convened by Scottish Government 2011- 2022 which has produced national criteria to ensure equity of service throughout the country. The group was Chaired by the Chief Executive for NHS National Health Services. The reports were presented for consideration of the Scottish Government Ministers.

- National Donor Criteria Group
Honorary Specialist Fellow, University of Aberdeen – 7 publications.






Specialized in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Founder-chair of IFFS Next Generation Group. Immediate past president of World Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynecology.






Dr. Yingying Qin serves as the President of Shandong Provincial Hospital, Shandong First Medical University. She is also a Professor and Chief Physician of Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine at Institute of Women, Children & Reproductive Health, Shandong University, China. She received her Ph.D. and M.D. in OB & GYN from Shandong University and has been a Visiting Scholar at Baylor College of Medicine, USA in 2006-2007. Her research focuses on Mechanism and intervention of female reproductive aging, with over 120 publications in N Engl J Med, Nat Med, Nat Aging, J Clin Invest, PNAS, etc. Dr. Qin has led multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has served as the Chair of the Chinese Special Interest Group (ChSIG) of American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and Chinese Chair for Abstract Review at the 2019 World Congress of IFFS. In 2023 and 2024, she was recognized as one of the top 2% scientists in OB & GYN and Endocrinology & Metabolism.

British Fertility Society Virtual Study Week 2021
The annual BFS Study Week will be conducted virtually in 2021, and content will be available from 14 June – 30 December. Talks will be available for on-demand viewing, with select live Q&A sessions. The courses cover topics as diverse as:
